Chicago Symphony Orchestra Peforms Shakespeare-Themed Works

 

Tonight at 7:00 on The Evening Concert Sir Mark Elder leads the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in a program of Shakespeare-themed works like Elgar’s “Falstaff: A Symphonic Study” and Tchaikovsky’s famous “Romeo and Juliet fantasy Overture”.  . Also on the program, Delius’ “Walk to the Paradise Garden” and Bernstein’s “Symphonic Dances from ‘West Side Story’”.
