On this week's Prairie Performances, Friday at 7 pm on WILL-FM 90.9, a salute to America’s heritage: “Classically Black-William Warfield: My Music, My Life”. Join us for this musical biography of Bass-Baritone William Warfield, star of stage, screen, and Broadway, not to mention beloved Professor Emeritus of the University of Illinois. Plus, in the second portion of the program, we will hear a concert of American music with the Millikin-Decatur Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Michael Luxner.
