Sunday night June 26 at 6:00 on FM 90.9 the “Evening Concert” starts with Haydn’s “Fifths” String Quartet” from Santa Fe, followed at 7:00 by Ravel’s “La Valse” from Lincoln Center and at 8:00 by music performed by the Camerata of the Americas on “Fiesta!”.

Tuesday night April 19 at 7:00 on the Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”.  Jakob Hrusa guest conducts Dvorak’s “6th Symphony” and Coleridge-Taylor’s Op. 33 “Ballade”. Also on the program Barber’s “Knoxville: Summer of 1915”.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week” with a program titled “Soloists of the NY Philharmonic”. You’ll hear Mozart’s “2nd Flute Concerto” and Copland’s “Clarinet Concerto”. Also on the program Barber’s “Violin Concerto”.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”.  Gil Shaham is the soloist in Barber’s “Violin Concerto”. David Robertson guest conducts. Also on the program Ravel’s “Mother Goose Suite” and Bartok’s “The Wooden Prince”.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the Los Angeles Philharmonic. You’ll hear Mahler’s “1st Symphony” and the “Adagietto” from his 5th Symphony.  Music Director Gustavo Dudamel conducts.  Also on the program Barber’s “Knoxville: Summer of 1915” with soloist Julia Bullock.
