Although she just completed a marathon ‘Grand Slam’ with victories in four cities, University of Illinois senior and wheelchair athlete Tatyana McFadden doesn’t get much time to relax.

She’s back on the Urbana campus this week, days after winning the women’s wheelchair division of the New York City Marathon - after titles earlier this year in Boston, London, and Chicago.

But McFadden is now in training for cross-country skiing at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

Illinois Public Media’s Jeff Bossert talked with McFadden about her newly found celebrity status – and her schedule leading up to possible winter games competition.
