The German violinist Adolf Busch combined a career as soloist, chamber music player, and conductor. His 1930s Bach recordings have been called "treasures of the 78rpm era." In America, he helped to found the Marlboro Music Festival. On Classics of the Phonograph, Saturday at 11 am on WILL-FM, we will hear samples of his multifacited career.
