Dawn Turner, former columnist and author of the new book "Three Girls From Bronzeville."

Dawn Turner was raised in the afterglow of the Civil Rights movement on the south side of Chicago. After attending the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, she went on to have a successful career as a columnist for the Chicago Tribune, but her sister and childhood best friend weren't so fortunate.  She joined us to talk about their divergent life stories, her writing process and more.
