Cubs Hold Parade, Rally In Front Of 5 Million Fans

The Chicago river was blue from dye and baseball fans in Chicago celebrated the Cubs win in the World Series with a parade. As is the case with every city celebration of a team's win, the streets were lined with fans and at the end players and team management address a large crowd. City officials estimate some 5 million people took part in the parade.

Cubs Hang On For 3-2 Win, Series Headed Back To Cleveland

Aroldis Chapman got eight outs for a pressure-packed save and the Chicago Cubs held off the Cleveland Indians 3-2 to force Game 6. It was Chicago's first World Series win at Wrigley Field since 1945.Game 6 is Tuesday night in Cleveland. Starter Jon Lester went six innings for the victory, and the Cubs got solo home run out of Kris Bryant in the three-run fourth inning.
