President-elect Donald Trump will appoint former Indiana Senator Dan Coats as Director of National Intelligence, according to anonymous sources cited by the Associated Press and the Washington Post.
Republican U.S. Senator Mark Kirk, one of the party's most endangered incumbents, said Tuesday he won't support the presumptive GOP presidential nominee after Trump's controversial comments about a federal judge of Mexican heritage. Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner said he was 'disgusted' by Trump's words, and Indiana Gov. Mike Pence called them 'inappropriate.'
