Millikin University Names Interim President

Millikin University’s Board of Trustees has announced Patrick White will serve as interim president starting July 1st.

The current president of Wabash College in Crawfordville, Indiana, White is in his seventh year there. 

A native of Dixon, Illinois, White said in a press release that he’s been familiar with Millikin all his life. 

"I am grateful for this opportunity to work with faculty, staff, alumni, studenets, and the Board of Trustees to move Millikin University forward during this time of transition."

White filling the role fomerly held by Harold Jeffcoat, who announced in late January that he planned to retire immediately. 

White is expected to serve as President of the Decatur university or 12 to 18 months while a national search is conducted for a 15th president.
