Duncan’s Family And Friends: In The Clear
By The Associated Press
Today is bringing a sigh of relief to family members and friends of Liberian Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan, who died earlier this month in a Texas hospital.
They've been confined under armed guard for 21 days, to make sure they hadn't contracted the deadly virus after coming in close contact with Duncan.
But the maximum incubation period has now ended, and they'll be free.
The incubation period also has passed for about a dozen health workers who encountered Duncan when he went to the Dallas hospital for the first time, on Sept. 25.
