Dial A Carol

Time is running out this year if you want to call up the very popular Dial-A-Carol and get a Christmas song sung to you by University of Illinois students. It’s an annual tradition that started in 1960 and has been going on every year since.

Dan Quock is the Dial A Carol Advisor and Resident Director of Synder Hall—the U of I residence hall that hosts Dial A Carol.

Here and Now local host Jason Croft talked with Quock recently, who started by giving a bit of history.

According to Dial A Carol’s Facebook page, they have received over forty-three hundred calls as of Wednesday morning.

The week-long program ends tonight at 11:59 p.m. If you want to call up Dial A Carol, their number is (217) 332-1882.
