Ludovic Morlot Conducts Programmatic Music

 

Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on WILL-FM 90.9, guest conductor Ludovic Morlot conducts the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in “programmatic music” like Ravel’s “Rapsodie Espagnol” and Falla’s “Nights in the Gardens of Spain” featuring pianist Stewart Goodyear. Also on the program Osvaldo Golijov’s “Mariel” and Messiaen’s “Three Small Liturgies for Orchestra”.
